Conducting an in-house investigation

There are many situations in which the employer has an obligation to investigate, for example when an employee complains of discrimination or harassment.

Conducting an in-house investigation is never a simple task. Such investigations are often delicate and complex, and must therefore be properly planned, conducted and followed up.

This will usually prevent litigation and mitigate operational, financial and reputational risks. Internal investigation is therefore essential in many situations: but how do you go about it? Who should investigate, and how should it be done?

This session was led by Maurice Macchi (Attorney-at-Law – A&O Shearman), who guided you step by step, taking into account technical considerations, as well as the latest trends and practices.

💡This session was held in French before the summer, and will now be available in English!
